Why it exists
Most lives are held together by things only one person knows: where the papers are, which bills go out when, what they decided and what they would want if they couldn’t say.
When someone forgets, falls ill or can no longer manage, that knowledge is often hardest to reach just when it is needed most. The people who step in are left to piece it together.
KindKeeping exists to make careful tools for moments like these. It starts with the parts of life that need looking after, and it takes them one at a time.
Why the software is free
The people who most need this kind of help are often the least able to pay for it, or to keep paying.
A record of someone’s life should not stop working because a subscription lapsed or a price went up. So KindKeeping’s software is free to download and use.
Continuity runs on your own server. There is no service to charge for, and KindKeeping never holds anything of yours.
